Youth Groups

Sunday School

You will find children (and adults!) of all ages joining together for an exciting Sunday School program every Sunday during the church service in the Educational Building, September through May, following the Children's sermon by the pastor. All children are welcome any Sunday at our Sunday school.

We strive to provide a full complement of activities for our children and young adults in the church, among which are the Sunday School and Scouting. Read about these groups below and join us!

Our Sunday School is an active environment where children are encouraged to experience new life in Jesus Christ. We offer an exciting program from nursery through age 12. We believe that the future of the church resides with the children. It is our desire to provide for them a place of integrity where their questions are always encouraged.

(We also have an adult class that meets in the Education Building at 9:00 (during non-Covid times!), September through May, with a chance for coffee and discussion. The class focuses on current issues and are tied to Biblical lessons. Currently, we meet at 8:30 a.m. via Zoom, using the link that is available on our home page.)

Mission Music

Trinity Christian UCC has started a new group called Mission Music. We welcome all children starting at age 4 through 12 who enjoy singing and are interested in singing with others.

During COVID restrictions, Mission Music will meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. To join your Zoom sesion, click on this link.

Once the COVID crisis ends, Mission Music will meet on Sundays, after the worship service, one or two times a month for about a half hour. The children will learn new songs, learn how to sing together as a group, hear how music and songs are a reflection of the stories and scriptures in the Bible and of course have fun. Periodically, Mission Music will sing for the congregation during the worship service.

Please let us know if your child is interested. Any questions, please reach out to us. Ralien Besch, Susan Vogl or Pastor Amelie Sell.

Once the COVID crisis ends, Trinity will once again offer Sunday School during the church service at 10:15 a.m., September through May. The children remain with their families during church at the start of the service, including the children's sermon. After that, the young people head off to their Sunday School class for the remainder of the worship hour. (The adult class still meets at 9:00 a.m. in the Education Building. All are welcome to attend.)
